July through October: Spirited Dining…and we don’t just mean the booze! In place of our large annual gala, we are having smaller parties that are either private or public. If you are interested in being a sponsor or have questions please contact Ruth at 440-247-4695.
Saturday, September 5, 11am-3pm. Kick-off our new exhibit “Political Campaign Memorabilia- from first to last and everything in between (almost)” with our Front Porch Campaign Opening Reception. This will be an Open House style reception. The number of guests inside the museum will be limited but feel free to enjoy our front porch with your refreshments! We will safely be serving cookies and lemonade. Masks and sign in are required, please practice social distancing. The number of visitors allowed in the gallery at the same time will be limited.
Saturday, September 12, 4-6pm. “Spirited Drive-thru” sponsored by Murphy Funeral Home. Pick up dinner and support the Historical Society! Pre-order only! You must order before September 9th by either calling the Historical Society at 440-247-4695 or online order. On Saturday, September 12 between 4-6pm, drive to Murphy Funeral Home (95 S. Franklin St.) where you can be entertained by our Historic Spirits, pick up your meal, and support your Historical Society! $10 suggested donation per meal.
Saturday, September 26 & Sunday September 27. Tours at 4pm; 4:30pm; and 5pm. Spirits Alive! A walking tour of Evergreen Hill Cemetery with visits from spirits by their grave. RSVP is required! 440-247-4695. There will only be 10 guests during each tour time. Masks will be required and maintain social distance from other guests and the spirits.
