Laura J. Gorretta, Editor

During World War II, members of the Molly Chittenden Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), based in Chagrin Falls, sent newsletters to local men and women serving in the Armed Forces, filled with news from home. Because soldiers responded to the newsletters with information about their own experiences, the newsletters also served as a way for local service members to keep track of each other. Letters from Molly collects these newsletters, providing readers with fascinating insights into both life on the home front and life on the battlefield.
